Corey Robert Drake, age 28, of Holliday, Texas, went to be in the arms of Jesus Thursday, November 7, 2024.

Private graveside services were held under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home or Archer City.

Corey was born December 4, 1995, in Leominster, Massachusetts to Julie Gayle Maier.

He was very good at fixing things and always thought outside the box.  Like his grandfather, Corey even built his own computer once. Corey was sweet, loving and very caring.  He had a good sense of humor and could always make those around him laugh.  Corey enjoyed animals, hiking and the outdoors.  As a young man, he was involved in the Awana group at church and developed a strong faith in the Lord. When he was driving for Uber, Corey always took an opportunity to witness to his riders and share the love of Jesus with them.

Corey loved his grandparents very much and always looked forward to running the sound booth at church with his granddad.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Julie and Jeff Sanders of Iowa Park; and one uncle, Steven Maier of Abilene.
