Clifton Don Harrelson, age 54, of Flower Mound, Texas passed away Friday morning, July 8, 2022, in a Lewisville hospital.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m.  Monday, July 11, 2022, in the chapel of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with Roger Deerinwater officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Don was born August 6, 1967 in Olney, Texas to Junior Harrelson and Kay Scheller Harrelson.

In 1987, Don graduated from Archer City High School where he played football, basketball and baseball.  He also enjoyed running and cycling.

Don honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1992 until 1998 where he was an E7.  During this time, he became a father to his son, Aaron Gage Harrelson.

Don married Tina Nichols on November 19, 2016 in Lewisville, Texas.  Tina and Don originally met in high school.

He started his career with Bombardier in Wichita, Kansas in aircraft avionics. For many years he traveled all over the world. He later was promoted to instructing avionics for CAE in DFW. Don was a mentor to many people.  He enjoyed hunting and loved grilling for his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Tina Nichols Harrelson of Flower Mound; one son, Aaron Gage Harrelson of Midland; two daughters, Ashley Ball and husband, John of Corinth and Serina Hill of Flower Mound; father, Junior Harrelson of Archer City; three grandchildren, Zayden, Addy and Zaira; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws whom he was dearly loved by.

Don was preceded in death by his mother, Kay, on August 29, 2003.

Serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Nick Nichols, Dwayne Haehn, Luke Haehn, Matthew Haehn, Carl Harrelson, Jimmy Malone, Junior Malone, Timmy Malone, Jason Scheller and Pat Scheller.
