Christopher Mack "Chris" Wallace, Sr., age 43, of Archer City, Texas gained his heavenly wings on Saturday morning, March 12, 2022.

Chris was born on July 28, 1978 in Nocona, Texas to the late Arley Elton Wallace and Judy Margaret McNew Wallace. He attended Nocona High School where he was a lineman for the Indians. Following his graduation in 1997, Chris went to work for Boeing in Lewisville, Texas.

Chris eventually met the love of his life at Stage West in 2003. He and Brandie Marissa Strickland were married on June 24, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Wichita Falls.

For eight years, Chris was a Senior Corrosion Control Specialist at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls. Everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him, knew Chris was something special. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone who needed it, unless it was a Green Bay Packers shirt. Chris had a love for God and a giving nature. He spent countless hours helping others with no expectation of receiving anything in return. He was grateful always, offering "thank yous" and passing out "love ya'lls" each time he gathered with family and friends. Chris had a love for grilling on Sunday after church, working in his garage, fast cars, rebuilding golf carts, and for drinking a cold beer. But nothing compared to the love he had for his wife and children. They were his most treasured gifts in his shortened life.

Survivors include his wife, Brandie of Archer City; two daughters, Breanna Doolittle and husband, Nathan of Wichita Falls, and Chevy Kaie Wallace of Archer City; one son, Christopher Mack Wallace Jr. of Archer City; four brothers, Arley Wallace, Jackie Mitchell and wife Debbie, Luke Wallace all of Nocona and J.T. Mitchell and wife, Staci of Dean; two sisters, Kathy Wilson and husband, Kevin and Lisa Crow and husband, Lyndal all of Nocona; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Chris was also preceded in death by brother, Richard Wallace and sister, Brenda.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Archer City with John Leggett, Pastor of Compassion Church of Wichita Falls, officiating. Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City. The family will receive friends at Aulds Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2022, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
