Cherrie Ann Knox Byrd, age 85, of Bixby, Oklahoma, formerly of Archer City, Texas, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at 6:20 p.m. in St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a month long stay with heart and kidney problems.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023, in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Cherrie was born January 21, 1938 in Olney, Texas to the late Archie Knox and Jewell Bowden Knox.

Cherrie was a homemaker throughout her life.

Survivors include her long standing companion, Don Wilmutt of Bixby, Oklahoma; two sons, Billy Crawford and wife, DeRhonda of Talmo. Georgia, and Terry "T.C." Crawford and wife, Linda of Archer City; brother, Butch Knox of Pasadena, Texas; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  Cherrie will be missed by her family and friends very much.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Copeland on June 19, 2014.
