Carolyn Dean Kelley, 87, of Electra, Texas passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Carolyn was born on April 5, 1939, in Lovelady, Texas to George Wesley Dean and Juanita Booher Broyles Dean. Throughout her life, Carolyn was known for her steadfast faith, servant’s heart, and deep love for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, J.W. Kelley; her infant daughter, Cheryl LaVawn Kelley; and her sisters, Zelma Enloe and Marilyn White.

Carolyn is survived by her sister, Maurine Begeman of Paradise, Texas; her daughters, Judy Parks of Electra, Texas and Rebecca Wehmeier and husband, James Wehmeier of Tifton, Georgia; and her son, Matt Kelley and wife, Carrie Kelley of Iowa Park, Texas. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Carolyn Kelley was a devoted sister, faithful friend, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, and trusted aunt whose life reflected her faith in countless quiet and meaningful ways.

Her legacy of faith, love, and prayer will continue through the generations she cherished so deeply.

Visitation will be held at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Faith Baptist Church in Iowa Park with Tim Franks, Pastor of Faith Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Carolyn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
