Carla Cooper, age 53, of Electra, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2025 at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Lloyd Daniels officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Carla was born February 24, 1971 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Thurman "Pete" Campbell and Roberta Sue Rye Campbell.

She graduated from Electra High School and then attended Midwestern State University where she earned her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.

Carla and Barnard Cooper were married on September 5, 1997 in Electra.

Carla was the store manager of Walmart.  Her favorite past time was shopping however, she had to be finished and back home at 3:00 p.m. so she could watch Lester Holt and Dateline.  Carla also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  Carla was an avid Eagles Fan and she lived to see them win the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Survivors include her husband, Barnard Cooper; one daughter, Olivia Sade Cooper and her boyfriend, Reese Price; one son, Drake Cooper all of Electra; four grandchildren, Everli, Emersyn, Onyx and Hendrix; her Aunt, Carol Rye Wyman and husband, Rick of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thurman Campbell; her mother, Robert Sue Campbell Shellnut; her step-father, Winford Wayne Shellnut; and one brother, Edward Ray Campbell.
