Bonita Tissot, age 84 of Electra, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021, in Burkburnett.

Services will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Bonita was born December 8, 1936, in Wichita County to the late Lee Roy Grant and Leona Shutt Grant.

She married John Tissot who preceded her in death on February 26, 1991.

Throughout her life, Bonita was a homemaker.  She loved sewing and her cooking was always something her children and grandchildren enjoyed.  Bonita was a warm and loving person.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Milton "Butch" Hohenstein of Iowa Park and Johnny Tissot of Coos Bay, Oregon; son-in-law, David Clark of Electra; daughter-in-law, Sharon Hohenstein of Electra; eleven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Deb Clark.
