Bobbie Joyce Babbitt, age 82, of Electra, Texas passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 in Electra Health Care Center.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 in the New Electra Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Bobbie was born November 21, 1937 in Electra to the late Robert Oliver Bates and Nona May Oden Bates.

Bobbie  married Paul Babbitt on December 24, 1957 in Temple, Oklahoma.  He preceded  her in death on January 9, 2018.

Bobbie was a beautician throughout her life.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading and being on her computer.  She also enjoyed playing games, being silly and watching westerns. Bobbie loved her family very much and was a sweet grandmother.  Bobbie didn't have a lot but she shared her love and her time with her family.  She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ.

Survivors include daughter, Karla Watson Smith and husband, Orville of Electra; sons, Terry Calhoun and wife, Sylvia of Abilene, and Darrell Babbitt and wife, Becky of Conroe; stepsons, Bobby Reeves and wife, Brenda of Olney, and Gene Reeves of Grand Prairie; fourteen grandchildren; and thirty-nine great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial to Electra Health Care Center, 511 South Bailey, Electra, Texas 76360.
