Billy G. White, age 79, of Archer City, Texas passed away Monday afternoon, February 14, 2022, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in the Archer City Cemetery with Jon Curry, Pastor of Grace Community Church, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Billy was born November 23, 1942 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Floyd M. White and Naomi Mills White.

During the Vietnam War, he proudly served his country in the United States Army where he was a member of the 82 ^Nd Airborne.  After his tour of duty, he returned home and married Delores Keplinger on June 6, 1972.

Billy was a truck driver throughout his life.  He loved driving his truck however, he loved his family even more.

Survivors include his son, Terry Bassham of Archer City; his daughter, Delores "Dee" White and Mandy White of Archer City; wife, Delores White of Wichita Falls; a dear friend, Charles "Chucky" Houston of Iowa Park.

He was also preceded in death by brother, Allen White.
