Billy Staley, age 76, of Electra, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at his residence.

The family will have a private service at a later date.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Billy was born November 27, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Arthur Lester Staley and Eva Jones Staley.

He and Bobbie Jo Edwards were married May 24, 1974 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Throughout his life, Billy worked in various types of construction.  He was an avid gun collector, with quite a large assortment of guns.  Billy loved all things Harley Davidson and especially enjoyed visiting the Harley Shop.  He was a good man who loved his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren very much.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Staley of Electra; one son, Ricky Sosebee of Electra; one brother, Arthur Staley of Electra; one sister, Peggy Moore of Electra; granddaughter, Cindy Booth of Wichita Falls; grandson, Ricky Sosebee of Electra; six great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Billy was also preceded in death by one son, Johnny Sosebee; two sisters, Patsy Davis and Brenda Miser; and one brother.
