Billie J. Geis, age 83, of Scotland, Texas passed away Thursday morning, May 7, 2026 in Texhoma Christian Care Center in Wichita Falls.
A Vigil Service and Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Aulds Funeral Home in Archer City. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2026, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Scotland with Reverend Michael Moloney, OFS, Pastor of St. Mary’s and St. Boniface Catholic Churches, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
Billie was born November 24, 1942 in Houston, Texas to the late William Wade Roberts and Annie Bell Morrell Roberts.
She and Marvin F. Geis were married January 3, 1959 in Houston, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2012.
Billie resided in Port Arthur and then moved to Scotland in 1968 where she lived until August 2011 moving to Wichita Falls. Billie was employed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church for twelve years. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Scotland Christian Mother’s Society. Billie served on the Scotland City Council.
Billie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Diana Ward and husband, Rick of Throckmorton, Lisa Johnson and husband, Donnie of Iowa Park and Kerri Stegall and husband, B.J. of Gainesville; one son, Marvin J. Geis and wife, Beth of Windthorst; twelve grandchildren, Eric, Lindsay, Kelcie, Klint, Kendra, Samantha, Wes, Brady, Cody, Tally, Presley and Landon; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Landon Fuller, Brady Geis, Cody Geis, Wes Johnson, Klint Newton and Eric Steinberger.
