Bill Gary, age 61, of Electra, Texas passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday August 25, 2021, in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Jack County.  Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Bill was born August 11, 1960 in Graham, Texas to Wesley Nathaniel Gary and Johnnye Belle Henderson Gary.

He married Theresa Lynn Baker on February 16, 1996 in Electra, Texas.

Bill was an operator in the oil and gas business throughout his life.  He took great pride in his work.  Bill worked for Johnson and Ernst Operating Company and helped save the company during a trying time.  He trained all of the employees in many aspects of the business. Bill was the type of guy to earn that dollar if there was one to be earned. He always said a man was as good as his word and believed in the importance of a handshake.

Bill loved fishing, hunting and trapping. He especially enjoyed catching rattlesnakes, and was known within the family for it.  "Bill, come get these rattlesnakes"- Waneta Smith."  Family meant the world to him, especially his grandchildren. He also loved to "show-off" and teach his skill with the numb chucks.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Baker of Electra; two daughters, Nicole Blakley of Electra  and Kayla Richardson and husband, Jolee of Wichita Falls; two sons, William Keith Gary of Wichita Falls and Charles Baker and wife, Monica of Burkburnett; his mother, Johnnye Gary of Kamay; three brothers, Charles Gary and Robert Gary of Kamay, and Darrell Gary and wife, Becky of Electra; Uncle Rocky; twelve grandchildren, Shana, Clay, Maddy, Mason, Avalynn, Zachary, Jacobe, Jordyn, Josiah, Zoey, Eevie, and Cooper; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Nathaniel Gary and two brothers, Bodine Gary and Eugene Gary.
