Betty L. Clark, age 83, of Archer City, Texas, passed away Saturday morning, July 21, 2018, at Vista Living of Archer.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City, Texas.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Betty was born November 17, 1934 in the Bugschuffle Community in Montague County, Texas to the late Otis Earl Murdock and Bessie Lois Rhoades Murdock.

She grew up on the Bridwell Ranches in Clay County until attending Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas where she graduated with a Nursing Degree and a Bachelor of Social Work Degree.  She had worked as a registered nurse and licensed social worker throughout her life.  She was also a Seventh Day Adventist.

She and Grady Clark were married in June of 1949.  He preceded her in death on August 31, 1997.

She is survived by her son, Nelson Clark and his wife, Brenda of Archer City; her daughter, Mary Lois Overstreet and her husband, Carter of Petrolia, Texas; her sister, Janie Light of Archer City; five grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
