Bernice Alexander, age 90, of Electra, Texas passed away Thursday evening, April 2, 2015 in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Clara, Texas with Rev. Samuel Wirgau officiating. Interment will follow in the Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
Bernice was born March 20, 1925 in Wichita County, Texas to the late Lawrence Klinkerman and Lydia Lalk Klinkerman.
She graduated from Electra High School and then attended Draughons Business College. Bernice was a bookkeeper throughout her life.
Bernice and George Alexander were married April 4, 1948 in Clara, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, George of Electra; one son, Dwayne Alexander of Electra; and one sister, Lydia Nichols of Plano.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Lutz.
The family suggests memorials to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 11867 FM 1813, Iowa Park, Texas 76367.
