Bernell Miller, age 86, of Quanah, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019, in Texhoma Christian Care Center in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Bullock Cemetery in Eastland County, Texas with her son-in-law, Moose Daniel of Muleshoe, Texas officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Bernell was born March 11, 1933 in Brownwood, Texas to the late David Francis Bufkin and Susie Ollie Wilson Bufkin.

She and Bob Miller were married January 3, 1951 in Breckenridge, Texas.  He preceded her in death on February 15, 2009.

Bernell was a resident of Quanah from 1963 until 2015. Bernell was a member of the First Baptist Church in Quanah where she was active in several of the church mission programs and sang in the choir.  She was also an active leader in organizations in Quanah including the P.T.A., Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H and the Needle Club.

Survivors include two sons, Lonnie Miller and wife, Deborah of Holliday, Mike Miller and wife, Devney of Escondido, California; two daughters, Lynn Daniel and husband, Jim of Muleshoe, and Rhonda Miller and Tara of Granbury; two sisters, Judy Dorn and husband, Steve of Silver City, New Mexico, Carol Stefanik of Seattle, Washington; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Monre Bufkin and sister, Melba Lorea Marsh.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chance Daniel, Colby Daniel, Moose Daniel, Dwyn Miller, Mark Miller, and Luke Naron.
