Barbara Dianne Townsend Davis, 75, of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025 in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Barbara was born April 4, 1949, in Graham, Texas, to George and Lura Burch Townsend. She grew up in North Texas and graduated from Valley View High School. She was valedictorian of her 1967 graduating class. She married Larry Davis in 1981. Together they owned and operated oilfield businesses/services with Barbara as secretary. Barbara was an avid birdwatcher. She loved spending hours watching them on the custom made houses & feeders that Larry built.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Davis; her children, Lee Ann (Wes) Klinkerman, Jennifer Canafax and stepson, Brandon (Laci) Davis; her grandchildren, Logan (Josh) Ivie, Colby (Casey) Alston, Ben Klinkerman (fiancé Mariah Hillman), and Lindsey Klinkerman; great-grandchildren, Braylin, Collins, & Deacon Alston, and Max Ivie.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Johnny and Michael Townsend.

The family would like to thank the staffs at Sheridan Medical Lodge and Hospice of Wichita Falls for their amazing care and dementia support.

A private graveside service was held in the Markley Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Serving as pallbearers were, Colby Alston, Ben Klinkerman, Wes Klinkerman, Josh Ivie, Dale Shelley, Jared Davis, Brandon McAlister and Matthew McAlister.
