Barbara Jo Standard Robeson Nava, age 65, of Electra, Texas, loving mother, grandma, and great-grandma went to be with her heavenly father and loved ones May 4, 2018 after a long hard fought battle with cancer.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Electra with Ryan Vanderland, Pastor of First Baptist Church, and Toby Castleberry, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
Barbara was born July 15, 1952, the daughter of the late Joe Standard and the late Una Mae Bales. Barbara was well known for her pool playing skills as well as her play on the softball field. Her family was her pride and joy and spent her time watching her children and grandchildren participate in their various activities.
She was a former employee of Tysons Food in Vernon.
Barbara is survived by her seven children, Jeff Standard and wife, Amy of Midland, Texas, Krista Robeson of Electra, Joseph Robeson and wife, Rhonda of Wichita Falls, Melissa DeHoyos and husband, John of Vernon, Ryan Nava and fiance, Toni of Wichita Falls, Keshia Nava of Electra and Sagen Nava and fiance, C.J. of Wichita Falls; nineteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by a brother, Bill Kreeger of Seminole, Oklahoma and a sister, Alice Gilbert of Electra. She also leaves behind a special group of friends she considered family including, Lisa Jo Henry, Kim Malcom, Keta Jolly, Kathy Guerra, and Dian Bray.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Betty McCain, Peggy Phelps and Brenda Coskey and brother, Charles Kreeger.
Serving as pallbearers will be Marty McCain, Eddie Stephens, James Stephens, Frank Coskey, Vollie Jolly and Lance Trammel. Honorary pallbearers include Mark Nava, Markeis Lee and Arcardio Viruegas.
The family ask that memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
