Barbara Neff, age 76, of Electra, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Electra with Joe Ainsworth, Interim Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
Barbara was born October 31, 1938 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to the late Fred Leon Huffstutler and Carlena Willemina Moeller Huffstutler.
She graduated from Electra High School and attended Midwestern State University.
She and Danny Ronald Neff were married May 25, 1956 in Electra, Texas.
Barbara was an artist who owned Strawberry Patch which was opened in 1975 and closed in 2004. She was a member of National Painters Association and taught classes at National Conventions in Phoenix, Arizona, Washington D.C., Nashville and Chicago. She attended conventions for about twelve years. She was a member of the Electra Arts & Crafts Club.
Barbara also taught continuing education at Vernon Regional College for several years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Electra where she taught Sunday School for nearly every age group. She was active in Little League, Boy Scouts and was a member of the Band Booster Club.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Neff of Electra; one son, Danny Neff and wife, Ann f Iowa Park, Texas; two grandchildren, Jennifer Noble and husband, Billy of Iowa Park and Carlena Neff of Iowa Park; one great-granddaughter, Jordan Bailey Noble of Iowa Park; three great-grandson, Jackson Noble, Landry Ryan Noble and Chandler Woodson Noble of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Robert Huffstutler and wife, Sue of Electra, Arden Huffstutler and wife, Linda of Keller, Texas and Larry Huffstutler and wife, Sharon of Electra; one sister, Loma James and husband, Howard of Brownwood, Texas; and one half-sister, Toka Dean Huffstutler of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by one half-brother, F.R. Huffstutler.
