Barbara Harrelson, age 84, of Archer City, Texas passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, in Vista Living of Archer City.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Aulds Funeral Home with her son, Mark and Rev. Silvia Wang, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Archer City, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Aulds Funeral Home.

Barbara was born October 21, 1934 in Elk City, Oklahoma to the late Vincent H. Rowe and Pearle Slate Rowe.

She and Leo J. Harrelson were married July 17, 1951 in Dill City, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on August 8, 2015.

She moved to Archer City in 1952 where she was a homemaker and seamstress.  Barbara was a member of the First United Methodist Church.  She had served on the board of the Community Action Corporation and was past president.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Custer of Waco, Texas; three sons, Phil and wife, Sheriee of Katy, Texas, Mark and wife, Donna of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Wayne and wife, Kay of Weatherford, Texas; twelve grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by sister, Linda Rowe; two brothers, Bob and Dick Rowe; and son-in-law, Bobby Custer.
