Arthur “Art” Teichman, age 71, a lifetime resident of Windthorst, Texas, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, in Wichita Falls.

Vigil service and rosary will be held at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Windthorst. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Michael Moloney, OFS, Pastor of St. Mary’s and St. Boniface Catholic Churches, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Art was born October 12, 1954 in Archer City, Texas to the late Frank Boniface Teichman and Rita Brenneis Teichman.

He graduated from Windthorst High School where he participated in football and baseball and was a member of the 1972 State Finalist Football Team.

Art married Missy Hudak on May 29, 1982 in Windthorst.

Art was employed by AMPI and then Dairy Partners. In 2006, he purchased the business and it became North Texas Dairy Supply which he operated until 2021.

Art was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus. He also served on the Windthorst School Board and Windthorst Athletic Booster Club.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, playing cards and dominoes. Art also coached his children in softball and baseball.

Survivors include his wife, Missy of Windthorst; son, Jordan Teichman of Richmond, Texas; daughter, Megan Teichman of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandson, Jayden Teichman of Lubbock; sister, Geraldine Kaltenbach of Windthorst; brother, Chuck Teichman of Windthorst; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Peytan; sister, Barbara and brothers, Louis, Roger and Johnny.
