Archie L. Harrison, age 95, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025 in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025, in the Archer City Cemetery with Bro. Tim Holley, Chaplain of Beyond Faith Hospice, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Archie was born October 4, 1929 in Davis, Oklahoma to the late George Harrison and Tencie Courtney Harrison.

He and Carrie Inez Sims were married in 1956 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  She preceded him in death on August 19, 2008.

After serving in the Marine Corps, Archie joined Texas Electric Service Company, now known as Oncor Electric, where he spent over thirty-five years as a mechanic.

He was also preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers, one step-son, his step-daughter and one step-grandson.

Archie is survived by one brother, Eldon Harrison; one sister, Francis Nelda Crosby; his step-son, Kenny Sims and wife, Phyllis; three step-grandsons, Dwayne Lamb and wife, Pam, RC Aaron and Ben Sims; one step-granddaughter, Stacey Edwards; one step-great-grandson, Tyler Aaron; several nieces and nephews; one step-niece, Linda Mixon; and several other step-nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all of the staff with Beyond Faith Hospice, especially Bro. Tim, who continued to talk to Archie until he was ready to pray and accept Jesus as his savior.
