Anita Lynch Kortbawi passed away August 26, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Anita was born May 3, 1927 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by John Kortbawi, her loving husband of 64 years and their son Francis Kortbawi.
She is survived by daughter Maureen Talbott and husband Ray of Wichita Falls, Texas, son John Kortbawi and wife Diane of Salt Lake City, Utah, son David Kortbawi and wife Frances of Escondido, California, daughter Anita Kortbawi and husband Geoff Cram of Seattle, Washington, brother David Lynch of Springfield, Virginia, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
When not raising her children, Anita did volunteer work at various hospitals, loved sewing (especially Raggedy Ann dolls as baby gifts), traveling and entertaining family and friends.
Anita participated in the Willed Body Program through Southwestern Medical Program. Her family will celebrate her life at a private memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to House of Hope, 5100 Stone Lake Dr, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310, or Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls Texas 76310.
